The actor swiftly addressed the false rumors on social media, strongly condemning them. In a heartfelt post, he assured his fans that he is “ALIVE, HAPPY, and HEALTHY,” putting an end to the misleading speculation.

In response to the rumors, Shreyas Talpade took to social media to dispel the false claims, expressing his deep anger and disappointment. He emphasized that such misinformation can cause significant distress, not only to the individual involved but also to their loved ones. “Dear All, I want to reassure everyone that I am ALIVE, HAPPY, and HEALTHY. I’ve come across a viral post falsely claiming my demise. While humor has its place, it becomes harmful when misused. What might have started as a joke has now caused unnecessary anxiety and is playing with the emotions of those who care about me, especially my family.”

Impact on Family

Shreyas revealed that the hoax deeply unsettled his family, particularly his young daughter, who has been anxious about his health ever since he suffered a heart attack last year. He shared, “My young daughter, who attends school daily, is already worried about my well-being, constantly seeking reassurance. This false news has only heightened her fears, making her confront more questions from her peers and teachers, stirring emotions we’ve been working hard to manage as a family.”

Addressing those who spread the false rumors, Shreyas delivered a stern message, urging them to consider the consequences of their actions. He expressed his concern about how such jokes, made in poor taste, can have real and harmful effects on people’s lives. “To those spreading this misinformation, I urge you to think about the consequences. Many people have sincerely prayed for my health, and it’s painful to see humor used in a way that causes harm, distresses my loved ones, and disrupts our lives. When you spread such rumors, it doesn’t just affect the individual targeted—it deeply impacts their family, particularly young children who may not fully grasp the situation but still bear the emotional burden.”

Shreyas also thanked his well-wishers for their concern and love during this difficult time, while making a heartfelt plea to the trolls: “I am deeply grateful to everyone who has checked in on me during this time. Your concern and love mean the world to me. I have one simple request for the trolls: please quit. Don’t make jokes at the cost of others, and don’t do this to anyone else. I wouldn’t want something like this to happen to you, so please be sensitive. Never compromise other people’s feelings in the name of pursuing engagement and likes.”

Shreyas Talpade had a severe heart attack on December 14, 2023, in Mumbai while filming Welcome to the Jungle. The actor was rushed to Bellevue Hospital, where he underwent an angioplasty. This life-changing event prompted Shreyas to reevaluate his approach to work and life, leading him to adopt a more balanced and health-conscious lifestyle.
