The song features Rajinikanth in a sleek black suit and dark sunglasses, exuding unmatched style, while Anirudh rocks a traditional Veshti look. Manju Warrier, dazzling in a red and gold saree, adds to the song’s vibrant energy. Sung by Yugendran Vasudevan and Deepthi Suresh with lyrics by Vishnu Edavan and Super Subu, the track’s standout element is the revival of the late Malaysia Vasudevan’s iconic voice through AI technology, reuniting him with Superstar Rajinikanth after 27 years. Producers proudly announced, “Bringing back the legendary MALAYSIA VASUDEVAN’s voice for SUPERSTAR after 27 years!” Malaysia Vasudevan, the legendary Malaysian-Indian playback singer-actor, last worked with Rajinikanth in the 1987 film Oor Kavalan before his passing in 2011. This song not only celebrates Rajinikanth’s charisma but also honors the legacy of Malaysia Vasudevan, making it a must-watch for fans old and new.

Star-Studded Cast and Exciting Plot Rumors for ‘Vettaiyan’

Apart from Rajinikanth and Manju Warrier, TJ Gnanavel’s highly anticipated film Vettaiyan boasts an impressive ensemble cast including Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Kishore, Ritika Singh, Dushara Vijayan, GM Sundar, Abirami, Rohini, Rao Ramesh, Ramesh Thilak, and Rakshan. Set for a grand theatrical release on October 10 during the Dasara festival, Vettaiyan marks Rajinikanth’s milestone 170th film. While the official storyline remains under wraps, rumors suggest it will center around a retired police officer who takes on the fight against corruption.

Release Date Changes and Future Projects for Rajinikanth

Interestingly, Siva’s Kanguva, starring Suriya and Bobby Deol, was initially scheduled for the same release date but has been postponed to avoid clashing with Vettaiyan. The new release date for Kanguva is expected later in October but has yet to be announced. Meanwhile, Rajinikanth is also gearing up to appear in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s upcoming film Coolie, which will feature a stellar lineup including Soubin Shahir, Nagarjuna, Shruti Haasan, Sathyaraj, and Upendra.
