Prime Minister Modi has assured support after speaking with Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel about the crisis.

Gujarat Rains Cause Flood: Orange Alert

The heavy rains are expected to persist as the deep depression affecting the region is forecasted to move towards the Arabian Sea by August 30. The IMD has warned of potential localized flooding, road closures, and disruptions in urban areas due to waterlogging. Rescue efforts focus on relocating people from vulnerable locations and providing relief to affected communities. With continued rains expected, the state remains on high alert, with authorities closely monitoring the situation and preparing for further evacuations if needed.
