British YouTuber Miles Routledge is under fire after making a series of racist comments, including disturbing jokes about nuking India. In his offensive posts on X, Routledge baselessly accused an anonymous troll of being Indian while making racially charged remarks.

Notoriety from Afghanistan Incident

Routledge, 25, first gained notoriety as the British student stranded in Afghanistan during the Taliban’s 2021 takeover, which led to his evacuation from the war-torn country. On Tuesday, he reignited controversy by inciting racist attacks against Indians after sharing a screenshot of an apparent threat from an anonymous X user. Despite having no evidence, Routledge accused the user of being Indian.

British YouTuber: Mocking and Ridiculing Indians

“Indian threatens to find me, it backfires lmao,” Routledge wrote while sharing the screenshot. The screenshot showed the following message: “I swear, I will locate you. Your video apologies will be charming. Sharing his address in response, Routledge mockingly said, “Saar, okay, Lord, saar, good luck saar, haha saar,” obviously making fun of the way he perceives Indians speak.

Miles Routledge: Disturbing Comments about Nuclear Weapons

This wasn’t his only racist remark. The British author and YouTuber made a joke about firing nuclear weapons at India in a different tweet. “I’ll open the nuclear silos as a clear warning to any foreign power that interferes with British interests,” he stated in a letter to the editor of the newspaper. Not big incidents, mind you—I’m prepared to launch and destroy entire countries for the slightest transgression.”

Expressing Hatred toward India

“Hell, I might just launch at India for the sake of it!” Addition of Routledge. The British user replied that he just didn’t like India when an Indian X user accused him of rage-baiting. He went on to say, “Believe it or not, I just don’t like India,” in support of his theory that the troll who was threatening him was Indian. I smell an Indian, too. He’s from India. An online man is Indian if, in the first response, he talks about avoiding your mother. Many such situations,” according to Routledge.
