Announcements from Xbox Games Showcase 2023: Starfield, Forza Motorsport, and More Revealed

Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty Xbox unveiled a teaser for the highly anticipated upgrade of Cyberpunk 2077 called “Phantom Liberty.” Keanu Reeves returns as Johnny Silverhand, while Idris Elba joins the cast as Soloman Reed. This update introduces a new area in Night City called Dogtown. Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty will be available on PC and Xbox starting September 27.
  2. Fable Playground Games released a teaser for the reboot of Fable, although the exact release date is yet to be announced. Once it arrives, the game will be available on Game Pass.
  3. Star Wars: Outlaws Xbox showcased the trailer for Ubisoft’s upcoming open-world game, Star Wars: Outlaws. The game is expected to be released in 2024 and will be available on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms.
  4. Forza Motorsport A trailer was released for the reboot of Forza Motorsport, with a scheduled release date of October 10 this year. The game, a sequel to the 2017 title Forza Motorsport 7, will be playable on Xbox and PC.
  5. Avowed Microsoft presented the trailer for Avowed, an immersive first-person fantasy RPG developed by Obsidian Entertainment. The release date for Avowed is set for sometime in 2024, and it will be accessible on PC, Xbox, and Steam.
  6. Starfield A new trailer for Starfield was unveiled, offering fans a longer and more detailed look at the game through Starfield Direct. Starfield will be available on Xbox and PC starting September 6. Microsoft also announced a special Starfield Edition Wireless Controller and Headset to enhance the gaming experience.
  7. Xbox Series S Microsoft announced the all-new Xbox Series S, which comes in a sleek Carbon Black color option and offers 1TB of storage. With lightning-fast load times and gameplay of up to 120 FPS, the Xbox Series S is an enticing choice. Users can pre-order the Xbox Series S with 1TB storage for $349.99 from the Xbox and Microsoft Store websites.
